Healing Begins with Understanding
The Father Wound Freedom Initiative exists to help individuals find healing, hope, and lasting freedom from the impact of father wounds. Through faith-based resources, supportive community, and transformational programs, we create pathways toward wholeness, restored identity, and renewed relationships.
The Father Wound Epidemic
Father wounds can leave a lasting imprint on the heart. Whether through absence, estrangement, rejection, emotional distance, or broken trust, the effects often reach far beyond childhood—impacting identity, relationships, self-worth, and the ability to fully embrace purpose.
The Father Wound Freedom Initiative was established in response to a growing need for accessible, faith-centred healing resources and supportive communities for those navigating these challenges. We believe that healing is possible, restoration is available, and no one should have to walk the journey alone.
By providing education, community programs, scholarships, and outreach initiatives, we seek to help individuals move beyond pain and into freedom, wholeness, and renewed hope for the future.
Our Purpose & Vision
Our mission is to bring biblically grounded healing, restoration, and lasting freedom to adults impacted by father wounds and broken father-child relationships.
We envision a world where individuals are no longer defined by the pain of the past, but are empowered to live with freedom, purpose, and healthy relationships.
Through compassionate support, biblical truth, and transformational resources, we seek to restore hearts, strengthen families, and help break cycles of brokenness for future generations.
Statement of Faith
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible (the Tanakh & Brit Chadashah) to be the infallible Word of God.
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh).
We believe in the deity of Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His soon personal return in power and glory.
We believe that the Good News of the Kingdom is for everyone, Jew and Gentile: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Messiah, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”-Romans 1:16
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a Godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe in the John 17 spiritual unity of believers in and through Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah.
We believe the Bible is a love story between the Creator of the universe and His people; the union of the Bridegroom and His Bride. We view the Commandments through the lens of wedding vows and, therefore, obey them as an expression of our love towards our Beloved.
Scriptural Anchor for Our Mission
Malachi 4:5-6 (NLT): “Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the Lord arrives. His preaching will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse.”
The abandonment of God’s design and framework for marriage and family, especially in the West, has brought a curse of an epidemic of fatherlessness in its many forms.
We have an “Elijah anointing” to help facilitate the turning of the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers through a Word-centered program of discovery, release, and renewed identity.

Meet the Board
Our Board of Directors provides strategic leadership, accountability, and guidance for the Father Wound Freedom Initiative. Together, they share a commitment to helping individuals experience healing, restoration, and freedom through faith-centred support and community.
Giji Mischel Dennard
Giji is a speaker, author, and transformational leader dedicated to helping individuals, families, and organizations experience greater wholeness, purpose, and Kingdom impact. Through the Father Wound Freedom Initiative, she equips people to pursue healing and, where possible, reconciliation between estranged fathers and adult children.
Drawing on a professional background in journalism, law, and leadership development, as well as her seasoned experience as an intercessor and spiritual mentor to myriad young adults, Giji combines thoughtful teaching, practical insight, and a passion for personal transformation. At the heart of her work is a commitment to helping others discover and fulfil their God-given purpose in spirit, soul, and body.
